We at Bormann Marketing believe that honesty and integrity is the way to develop long term customer relationships. We see our customers as everyone in the selling chain - the manufacturer, the dealer, the end user and our employees. Our company goal is to serve our customers beyond their expectations, to work together to build their business and in so doing, build ours. We work to provide friendly, prompt and accurate service and information and pay close attention to the details.

As the principal of Bormann Marketing, I believe in creating a positive work environment by hiring competent people with sound principles- team players who are concerned about helping others to achieve their goals. I establish specific company and individual objectives and base rewards upon successful achievement of those objectives. I believe that once the direction and the goals are established, in empowering people to work and act on their own and trust them to make good business decisions.

We have invested in the latest technology to maintain an up-to-date database on our customers, manufacturers and the products we sell. We provide a digital binder on our web site – www.bormann.com for immediate information retrieval by our customers via a security code for literature, sales, technical information and price sheets.

To increase exposure for our manufacturers, in the spring of each year we hold a mini trade show with exhibits from all of our manufacturers with average attendance of 200 people in both the Chicago and Minneapolis areas. In the fall we do a microphone clinic at a world class recording studio in which we also display other manufacturers equipment with an average attendance of 100 people. Additionally we sponsor and work our customers shows and do various promotions and in field demos above and beyond our normal product sales demos. We publish a newsletter three to four times a year and do numerous mailers and blanket emails each month highlighting new products and specials. These are all assisted by telemarketing efforts from our office staff.

Our “Core Competency” is the knowledge base of our staff and myself. I have fifteen years experience as a successful contractor/pro audio dealer with offices in the Minneapolis and Chicago area during the period of 1975 to 1990. This experience allows me to assist customers from both a business operational viewpoint and from a familiarity with systems design. I have consulted and/or designed many systems for contractors and AV houses in which we have incorporated our products and this is directly responsible for those dealers supporting our lines. Additionally, I know many of the end users and have provided numerous demos and training sessions directly to them at the request of the dealer. I regularly visit the key dealers in both territories and work with my sales people in the field to ensure adequate coverage. In order to keep pace with the growth, we now have a staff of eight people to serve our customers.
