
As the principal of Bormann Marketing, I believe in creating a positive work environment by hiring competent people with sound principles- team players who are concerned about helping others to achieve their goals. I establish specific company and individual objectives and base rewards upon successful achievement of those objectives. I believe that once the direction and the goals are established, in empowering people to work and act on their own and trust them to make good business decisions.
To increase exposure for our manufacturers, in the spring of each year we hold a mini trade show with exhibits from all of our manufacturers with average attendance of 200 people in both the Chicago and Minneapolis areas. In the fall we do a microphone clinic at a world class recording studio in which we also display other manufacturers equipment with an average attendance of 100 people. Additionally we sponsor and work our customers shows and do various promotions and in field demos above and beyond our normal product sales demos. We publish a newsletter three to four times a year and do numerous mailers and blanket emails each month highlighting new products and specials. These are all assisted by telemarketing efforts from our office staff.
